Vera,

I recognize that Lakoff's approach does not provide an immediate/integral
place for the role of artefacts. It seems as though the body itself (also
made by humans through their biological being) provides the Lakoff basis for
mediation.

Nevertheless there seems to be great affinity in the general opposition to
objectivist, mentalistic representationalism, the mind as a machine
paradigm, .and , at least in WF&DT, he seems to traverse cross-cultural,
extra-experimentally derived data.
