Paul,

Below is Eva's paper on the gemlin attack from awhile back. The way I
understand "trojan" viruses is their is some human intension involved.
Some human agent creates the virus to cause problems. In contrast, a
gremlin is how we, as humans, being unable to understand our world give it
intention by such creatures as gremlins. For some reason (a mistake, bad
code etc.) members stop getting mail and to make sense we give it
intentional design through a creature such as the gremlin.
