With the precise use of single tests, as in Texas- to make life
decisions in schools we are surely likely to see more law suits and the
test makers may finally be held accountable not only for the
miscalculations which are embarrassing them now in New York Indiana and
California but for their permitting the flaws in test design and for
their willingness to let their tests be used in ways that are
statistically indefensible.
