Thinking about the focus on "the individual" in education, I can't help but
wonder how a college and university educational system that is based solely
on rewarding the individual (albeit within clearly structured networks) can
produce administrators and teachers that create any other kind of
educational system. A house divided against itself? I think not.

Follow the money! Who pipes the tune that higher education dances to? The
people out on the balcony catching air still had to pay the ticket at the
front door.
