Another early woman adopter and adapter you might want to look into is the
American psychologist Eugenia Hanfmann who wrote about Vygotsky's work in
the 30's and of course worked with Mike on the first translation of
Thought and Language.

Mike, do you want to tell us something about her?

I am particularly interested in finding out more about her because I am
exploring connections (actual historical as well as theoretical
compatabilties) between the Russian Cultural Historical school and the
American interpersonal psychiatry school (Harry Stack Sullivan, et al) for
a paper at AERA.
