Dear XMCA'ers---
Like others who knew her, I was shocked and saddened to learn
of the death of Jan Hawkins. She was a very special person who I first
go to know as part of a graduate student group that participated in
LCHC all the way back at Rockefeller U. In addition to her personal
qualities as a human being, which invited warm human contact, her
personality shines through in the important work she carried out on
kids, computers, and culture.
So many losses, so close together.
