Dear friends and collegues,
My name is David Sinclair and I am Bruce Bain's graduate student. I am very
sorry to be writing this note to let all of you know that Professor Bain
had an accident while clearing snow from the roof of his home on Friday. He
sustained life threatening injuries and is in hospital in a coma. I know
that you all share the concern that I have for his wellbeing. Agnes and I
ask at this time that you all send your positive thoughts, wishes or
prayers for his recovery. If you would like to contact me my address is
