For those interested in philosophy / Vygotsky, I would suggest adding Andy
Blunden's site: 'The Value of Knowledge: a Miniature Library of Philosophy
tracing the development of ideas on the relation between consciousness and
matter through the words of 100 philosophers over 400 years'. It consists of
extracts from a wide range of philosophers, psychologists, sociologists,
mathematicians etc. The address is
http://werple.net.au/~gaffcam/phil/index.htm . It contains chapters from
Vygotsky's 'Crisis' ( at http://werple.net.au/~gaffcam/phil/psycri01.htm )
and 'Thought and Speech' ( at
http://werple.net.au/~gaffcam/phil/vygotsky.htm ), together with his own
comments on LSV's use of dialectics. If of interest, Blunden's 'Hegel by
Hypertext' site is invaluable for anyone trying to read about Hegel's logic
and/or its influence on Marxism. It is at:
http://www.werple.net.au/~andy/index.htm .
