The proposal pitch is one thing.

There are other things.

There's the proposal credibility and then there's the
manner of proposal presentation, and that would include
the presentation to reviewers, and that would include
politeness procedures and appropriate displays of
self-in-institution, and that would presuppose
taken-for-granted-institutional body and that
would not include the desire for such. So
the ongoing conversation in the head
is the thing, and the scenario that
drives it, y'know. It ought not
to be a do or die scenario
which would preclude any
display of competencies
that are what is most
highly valued these
days, that is
