Below is the 1st announcement for the annual collaborative effort from this
group . I went this last Feb., folks had to go via Cancun or the Bahamas
which was a hassle, perhaps by next Feb it may be different. This group is
not CHAT oriented but has a nice variety of political science and educ. types.

Another group which is more C-H is planning a larger conf. in 1999 that
will focus on CHAT issues, which will probably be announced formally at
Aarhus by the Cuban delegate Rey.
