what we are calling "recursivity" or "prolepsis",
the pomos call "rhizome" (Deleuze & Guattari, 1982?),
Deleuze uses the metaphor of grass to explain this kind of
"tracing" strands proleptically, or recursively,
anti-linearity seems to be the theme - but anyhow,
grass grows uniformly along the surface, but beneath is a maze
of interconnected roots systems which spread out along,
under the surface, in networks of irretrievable trails and passages -
again, discursive - no "true" beginning or end,
only the possibility of finding the details/relations/copnnections
which lie beneath a single
blade of grass -
given that pomos & sociocultrualists & environmentalists and psychologists
are all describing a similar phenomenon with different words/metaphors...
it seems like a opportunity to return to the questions
about language in contexts of inter-"global"
communications - here, in contexts of interdisciplinarity...
would one, say, refer to all the terms from all the disciplines,
and present their definitions to describe a "method"
which draws from all the 'tools?' or ...
