I'd like to know more on this project. The University I'm working and
students' culture involve a high degree of reliance on organization of
extrinsic motivation for students to engage in learning activities. Thus as
both practitioner and researcher, I'm interested in designing an educational
environment that facilitates emergent intentionality in my students
(preservice teachers) and me, as their instructor. So far I found several
important components that I want them to guide me (it is easy to say than
do!):

1. Respect: considering students as my colleagues. Respecting their
non-participation in the activities I designed.
2. Reflective experience: prioritizing their teaching practicum and
considering the class as reflection on their teaching experiences that
grounds them in educational and academic discourse.
3. Open-ended character of expected students' contributions.
4. Space for the students to introduce their own agendas.
5. Recursivity: The products of their current contributions are objects for
work in future activities.
6. Physically and semiotically shared focus for the class discourse and
activities.
7. Non-judgmental feedback: Emphasis on what worked well and what next steps
should be taken.
8. Encouragement to join a new activity: Designing immediate gains for
students for joining a new activity.
9. Formative students' feedback on the class.
10. Diverse ways of access to the class activities for the students.
