Reagan,
Welcome to XMCA.
You're research interests also interest me.
Are the crosscultural and Neopiagetian strands intersecting?
I have a copy of Carey and Gelman's (1991) _Epigenesis of Mind_
sitting on my desk, as yet unread. I've enjoyed Gelman's previous
work on early counting skills, and am sure that her newer work
will be equally rewarding. Having just returned from crosscultural
research on elementary math ed in Korea, I'll be interested to learn
how you and Dr. Okamoto are studying crosscultural understanding.
