While Diane's comment on Kevin Leander's query may be, alas, apt in
general, I'm not actually so unhappy to see universities pursuing
on-line education technologies out of fear they may lose their
'markets'.
The fear I think is well placed and regardless of motive, a lot of
experimentation needs to be done to see what may work for whom. We are
definitely still in the juggler stage!
