You are right that people on xmca are interested in instructinal
design among many different issues that extend beyond classrooms
to work, home, and other settings. You will probably find a lot
of sympathy for not over-focusing on technological intstruments,
but at the same time, sympathy for the view that all human interaction,
and that which occurs in classrooms in particular, is mediated through
cultural artifacts which, writ large, are fruitfully considered technologies.
