I have a Ph.D. in psychology from Northwestern University (my
dissertation was in the area of human verbal learning), and presently
teach child/adolescent psychology and educational psychology at
Northeastern Illinois University. This semester I am also teaching a
graduate course devoted to the work of Lev Vygotsky. I have a good
command of Russian, and two years ago I delivered a paper at a
conference at the Ural State Pedagogical University in Yekaterinburg
(the former Sverdlovsk).
