papers on the website

I like Pim's idea of a trial run, with papers in both simplified
unformatted text visible in html directly and in the acrobat file
format to download. The latter is particularly important for people
who are using diagrams or other visual elements in their papers,
and it's really one of the miracles of the web (I gaped the first
time I downloaded the miniature version of the NY Times newspaper
in this way). Let's try both and see if people get comfortable
enough with acrobat that maybe we can put new papers up in both,
but then just archive things in acrobat to save space ... or
whatever combination.

By the way, Mike, Netscape Navigator is notoriously fickle and
mine crashes unpredictably about every third site I access. We
all hope the Windows95 version 3 will be more robust. JAY.
