The conference announcement (2nd flyer):

LEV S. VYGOTSKY'S IDEAS IN EDUCATION
reshaping teaching and learning for the 21st century

About this conference...

This conference celebrates the 100th birthday of Lev S. Vygotsky, honoring
his idea of learning as a shared process in a responsive socio-cultural
context. L. S. Vygotsky is known as the "Mozart of psychology" for his
prolific contributions to cultural psychology, cognitive education, dynamic
assessment, and multicultural issues of education. Among a number of other
conferences on Vygotsky planned worldwide, this conference will be unique in
its focus on and relevance to the educational aspects of Vygotsky's
scientific legacy. It will not be "about Vygotsky," but about his ideas as
promising alternatives to existing theories and practices in education.

This conference will be of interest to a wide variety of professionals
involved in education, such as teachers, psychologists, social workers,
