I am a director of a small New Zealand research institute WEB Research
(full name in the footer). Our collective's core business concerns major
projects funded by the Public Good Science Fund of the NZ Foundation for
Research, Science and Technology. Our two major projects at present are
'Economic Restructuring and Skills Formation' (a 3 year project to be
completed Dec 1996) and 'Learning and Expertise in Teams and Networks' (a
4 year project commenced July 1996). The latter project is theoretically
grounded in Activity Theory and Yrjo Engestrom is an active member of the
project team.
Around our major projects we conduct other academic and commercial
research projects and consultancies in an action research frame. Our core
team is 6 people and we network widely and internationally.
