Maybe we should have a discussion about what I think of as techno-phobia -
especially in relation to language. It seems to me in our culture no one
worries that their doctor has a horribly technical theory of their
physiology (well some people may, but it's not a general worry). Whereas
with language, once we get past noun and verb, there is a big taboo!
What's the function of the taboo??
