Research projects:
- Transition to role play; young children's play as a pedagogical and
developmental psychological phenomenon (and also as a theoretical and
research methodological problem)
This project is based on activity theoretical, Piagetian and Batesonian
viewpoints.
- Quality of the children's life in Nordic day care centers (a Nordic
collaborative study)
This project is based on a synthesis of various research traditions - the
main source being the activity theory but we also use ideas of, e.g.,
Bruner, Lewin and Piaget.
How interesting to jump - perhaps first rather passively - in the ongoing
discussions!
