I highly reccommend Carol Gilligan's book, _In A Different Voice: Psycological
Theory and Women's Development_ which makes many references to Lawrence
Kohlberg and his theory of moral development. Carol Gilligan describes two
different perspectives for a more complete understanding of human moral
development. One is a care perspective (most often linked to the female
gender) and the other is a justice perspective (most often linked to the
male gender.) This book would be a good source of further references also. I
would be happy to discuss it with you or anyone interested.
