a couple of days ago i got the mail below. i was very confused for a short
moment until i figured out that this guy was referring to something he had
found in the xmca archive. obviously he did not bother too much about the
contex of the "information" his search engine found for him.
my question is do we really like the xmca discussions to be that public. we
had discussions a while ago about quoting xmca (or was it xlchc then)
discussions, but if anybody, by using his favorite search engine,
(accidentally) can crash right into the middle of a lengthy thread, without
knowledge about the discussion or the entire forum, then that issue is very
passe.
maybe we should think about password protecting the xmca archive, one
password for everybody just to keep the engines out. (or am i just too
paranoid).
