I agree that a dichotomy between freedom and coercion is not very appropriate.
I don't like dichotomies because they tend to over-simplify, but if I were to
try and create a dichotomy using coercion as one element, I would pair it with
self-regulation. And self-regulation is not the same thing as freedom.
