I certainly have not, and I would not like to see us deflect
our discussion of a difficult issue, replacing it by an easy
one.
Just because some pain and restrictions are inevitable in
life, and so in learning, does not mean that this justifies
the deliberate use of pain as a coercive device to promote
our own interests at the expense of those we claim only
to be helping.
