At least we have more than one sort of metaphor to juggle these
days! I do like toolkits, too, but we now need to elaborate that
one further, perhaps with something like the Heidegger's hammer
ideas I thought I heard in the Bogen session in Chicago. We need
a notion that the tools have us as much as we have the tools,
that we and they are integral parts of larger networks of practices
that define what we are/feel/think as well as what "we" do with
them in the local ecologies and extended networks. JAY.
