My son, in his gentler moments, has likened experts to ex-spurts: drips under
pressure. To think that there is a "one right answer" to understandig the
implications of thinking that mind is culturally mediated/consituted is
like thinking that there is one best flavor of ice cream. Of course, its
chocolate, but......
What we are dealing with here is a world view, a heterogeneous
family of intuitions with histories as long as you care to
delve into, that are somehow related.
I actually had the opposite reaction to recent discussions from yours.
I came away surprised that I thought within reach a graspable list
of principles with wide acceptance!
Oh well, all that lack of snow and ice melts one's brains instead!
