Dear Elice,
I just wrote a little bit about your "shadow" study in an article
and presentation for AERA's educational psychology folks. A
challenging audience--they gave us 7 pages of criticisms. In one
of those they refer to an in press atrticle of yours concerning the
transmission of knowledge in a teaching situation. The interpretation
seemed slanted to me, actually it was in an article by Cobb for the
symposium during which different approaches will be presented. I can't
put my hand on his biblio at the moment, do you know what he may be
refering to,and if so would you be able to send a copy of it to me?
Sorry for the vagueness of this request, but I am really concerned
about possible misrepresentations of socio-cultural approaches.
