Time for my cocktail party metaphor again. I think of discussions on xmca
like a cocktail party. There are lots of interesting discussions as you walk
around some of which you join- not always at the beginning- and some of which
you ignore or drop out of as they move on to other topics. Conversations ebb
and flow and are interrupted by other conversations and some seeem to depend
on shared information which all present don't have access to. The key is
to pay attention to as little or as much as you choose to. I like it this way.
