I'm not sure the name of the author of the message I'm responding to,
but I am responding to both the author and the message content.

Hi. I am concerned that some xmca participants may be annoyed or offended
by some of the messages sent out, but I am not sure which messages you
refer to. Are the "personal-oriented" messages those that respond
directly to previous messages and address the authors by name (such as
the ones that I sent out most recently)? Perhaps xmca participants
would benefit from hearing more about how and why particular messages
strike you as mis-informing? The difficulty with this medium is that
it is both "conversational" AND written-between-strangers, which seems
to invite a great deal of mis-communication.
