Thanks for the reference to Latour. Some interesting holiday reading! May I
ask for a clarification to orient my reading? Let's imagine some "flatter"
description of networks of relations such as you've sketched out (while
perhaps also wanting to maintain disagreement with your characterisation of
"older" models) . Is there a theoretical resource in Latour which will
describe/predict various (arbitrary) institutional selection and privileging
of some features of networks rather than others?
