CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Dear colleague,

The Russian Academy of Education and the International
Center for Human Values will hold the international
conference Education Strategies for the 21st Century in
June, 17-21, 1996.

The topics to be discussed:

1. The Influence Of Economy, Social Policy And Culture
On Education.
2. The Formation Of Regional And Global Educational
Spaces.
3. Planning Educational Progress.
4. Person-Oriented Education Development.
4. The Elaboration Of National And International
Educational Standards.
5. Multilevel Educational Models.
6. Interdisciplinary Researches In Education: Problems
And Perspectives.
7. Teachers For Schools Of The Future.

The official languages will be Russian and English.

The participation fee is $ 200 per day (cash in Moscow)
including hotel accommodation, meals, transportation,
interpretation, sightseeing and entertainment programs (a
performance at the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, visit to
the circus). A tour of Sergiev Posad, the historical center
of the Russian Orthodox Church, is scheduled for June 22,
1996. The town is located at a distance of 70 km. from
Moscow. If you are accompanied by a spouse, he or she is
requested to pay $ 100 per day (cash in Moscow).

If you are willing to attend the conference please advise.
In the event that you intend to make a presentation you are
requested to fax its title and synopsis (15-20 minutes to a
presentation), as well as bring your paper along in English
for further publication in the collection of papers of the
Conference.
