Angel, try the work of Octaviana Trujillo at the U. of Arizona--
she's worked with a Yaki community in Arizona to try to prevent
dropping out of school. The intervention is an arts-based
curriculum in the elementary schools. I don't know where she's
published it-- try contacting her or doing an ERIC search.
