Coalition: Communication and Cooperation in Diversity is a
dissertation Project of
Honorine
Nocon, who is using
socio-cultural-historical theories of development and sociological
theories of civil life and civic engagement to analyze the roles of
inter-cultural communication and voluntarism in inter-institutional
development. Participant observation and ethnographic methods were used
to track the development of the Coalition, an association of diverse
adult agency and institution representatives and community volunteers
who came together to support informal education projects based on the
Fifth
Dimension.
