Peg is one of those who put the rest of her life on hold and walked the
walk in the "battleground" states, Andy. California was not in play
nationally. But locally, the University and education system in general was
saved a terrible blood bath by a slim margin vote on a state-wide
initiative, so you can be sure there is relief all around.

But yes, the popular vote is split and the problems have not been solved.
