An amusing homophone in the blurb for this book: "CROSSING CONTEXTS: IDENTITIES AT THE BOARDERS." Highly appropriate to the theme as the British upper classes long thought boarding school good for 'forming character' (particularly for administering the empire or joining the army). :-)
