Just to make this clear to everyone on xmca. A number of us 
are members at vimeo.com and a couple of us have "Vimeo 
Plus" membership which allows us to maintain a collection of 
very many gigabytes of videos, in the public domain on a 
streaming server. Unlike youtube, we are not limited to 10 
minutes.

So not only the Moscow conference, but any of the various 
seminars, courses, conferences that people are organising, 
please organise for the speeches to be recorded (with 
permission of speakers of course). Don't compress the raw 
video without discussing, because very learge files and very 
high data rates can be used.

There is a purpose for all this, but if nothing else, we 
will just create a wonderful public treasure chest of CHAT 
speakers for anyone to browse.
