RE: [xmca] Zhozephina Shif – something in English?

I guess Ulvi is talking about a afterword in Collected Works (CW) from Vygotski, in English volume 2,but in Russian volume 5 (defectology) - Sobranie Sochnienii. It is an article by E.S. Bein, T.A. Vlasova, R.E.Levina, N.G. Morozova, and Zh. I. Shif. I have the Spanish version too (Obras Escogidas)... (volume 5 has in Russian). Its a good tip, but I was really interested in the problem of concept formation... and the methodVigotski/Shif to study the problem of cientific <-> everyday concepts mutual intercourse.
Thank you very much you both, Ulvi and Anton.
Best.

There are quite a few works written and published by Vygotsky's former students and/or collaborators, so, as you certainly know, this chapter by Shif is by no means exceptional and is only a a few pages piece out of several hundred (if not thousand!) pages corpus of literature on the subject and a minor episode of a very long story.
