Anton, Elina, Natalia, and other Russian participants in MCA.

I have not read Makrenko in 30 years and remember little of what I read.
What is his standing
today when the idea of a Djerzhinski commune might not seem all that
attractive, but there are
apparent links to Blonskii, Lunacharsky, & Krupskaya?

I know that Luria worked with such children early in his career, but never
heard him discuss either this
early work or Makrenko.
