RE: [xmca] CONGRATULATIONS MIKE!!!!!!

Here in Brazil, all people must to thank Michael Cole, Sylvia Scribner and Colleagues, because without them we didn't have the translation "Formação Social da Mente" (from Mind in Society) - the actual introduction of Vygotsky's work in my country for the first time. To my personal experience with this approach there is no way to think about Vygotsky without some feeling of gratitude to Mike and his close coleagues. But, like Vygotsky remember, history is not only past, and Mike is living and creative history. I thank you, for all, Professor Michael Cole, and send you my sincere congratulations too you at this especific special moment.
Achilles.
