hi Jose and all -- you may have interest in a book that Jim Lantolf
and Matt Poehner just finished editing that addresses Vygotsky-
informed pedagogy in the area of second and foreign language education
-- it should be out in print in the next week or so --

Lantolf J., & Poehner, M. (Eds.) (2008). Sociocultural Theory and the
Teaching of Second Languages. London: Equinox.

in terms of CHAT and LSV interest at Penn State, and in addition to
Jim and myself who teach courses in this area, Matt Poehner was just
recently appointed to a tenure line position in education at Penn
State and there's significant interest in CHAT in Adult Education here
as well, with talk of collaboratively teaching regular CHAT courses
across our two colleges (Liberal Arts (applied linguistics) and
Education).

best,

steve
