International Seminar
COMPUTER-AIDED QUALITATIVE RESEARCH 2008
10 & 11 June 2008, Amsterdam

Dear Phd Candidates & Researchers,

For the 1st international seminar on Computer-Aided Qualitative
Research 2008, we would like to cordially invite you to participate.
This highly interactive seminar will be held on the 10 & 11 June 2008
in Amsterdam.

This unique, cross-disciplinary seminar will bring together
qualitative researchers, practitioners and PhD students to discuss the
key issues concerning the use of QDA tools (e.g. Atlas.ti and NVivo)
and how to integrate them successfully into research methodologies.
This include assisting participants in developing a deeper
understanding of the use of QDA tools, raising conceptual awareness
and, of course, enhancing your skills as a qualitative researcher in a
friendly and relax atmosphere.

The structure of the seminar provides you the opportunity to give a
presentation about your research work. Your presentation should
address how you have (or plan to) used QDA tools for your research.
You will receive impartial and quality feedback from our international
panel of invited QDA experts. They include Dr Susanne Friese
(University of Hannover, Germany), Prof Brit Helle Aarskog (University
of Bergen, Norway), Prof Raewyn Bassett, (Dalhousie University,
Canada) and Prof Brigitte Smit (University of Johannesburg, South
Africa).

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to discuss best practices
with your peers in a small, friendly networking environment. This
two-day seminar includes all documentation and lunch on both days. To
secure your seat, please register online at
http://merlien.eventbrite.com/ before 1st March and benefit from an
early-bird registration discount.
