Easily :-)

We, I mean I and my British friend Steve Masterson, were standing at the bus
stop in halve past 5 a.m. on our way from Harrow to Heathrow airport in
London when two 20-22 years old men came to the same bus stop and sat on the
bench near us.

Suddenly (all hardship for some reason take place suddenly ;-) one of the
lads jumped, grabbed the case with the laptop which had been lying on the
suitcase before Steve and flew the coop.

Many years ago Steve was a Rugby-player, so he chased a robber and caught
him and both fell on the grass.

Alas, 50 years old Steve stayed with contused shoulder, one robber’s jogging
shoe, bottle of Cola and sandwich, while young robber (in one shoe) stayed
with laptop.

So London’s metropolitan police win a lot of evidence of crime, while we win
Steve’s contused shoulder and faint hope that in CID (Criminal Investigation
Department) are working detectives which are looking more like Sherlock
Holmes than inspector Lestrade :-).

As for me I add to the wide variety of social types, I’ve net during my
round-the-word tour, a pair of London’s lumpenprol and several brave
Londin’s policemen.
