Dear colleagues,

I thought that the recent findings regarding mirror neurons or "cells that
read minds" were interesting for people at XMCA since scientists are
claiming they play a central role in cultural evolution and, of course,
autism.

Just yesterday a long article appeared in the NYT:
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/10/science/10mirr.html?pagewanted=1

Last october the APA monitor published a number of divulgation articles
devoted to them:
http://www.apa.org/monitor/oct05/

and the following 2 scholarly articles summarize the neuroscientific ground
of the topic:
http://bjp.rcpsych.org/cgi/content/full/181/2/91

http://arjournals.annualreviews.org/doi/abs/10.1146/annurev.neuro.27.070203.
144230?journalCode=neuro

Maybe the people with full access might provide the pdf files for the
community.

Hope all of you find this info useful.

All the best,
David
