Your message came as I was about to send a last reminder to people to
sign up under the new system at the address above. Just follow the
blinking blue notice. By the end of the month we will convert to the
new system, replace the current membership list by the new one, and
discontinue membership for anyone who has not converted over. The idea
is to provide fuller information so people can know who they are
interacting with and to have a somewhat labor intensive repair process
at the UCSD end of this enterprise.
A lot of people have signed up, some have actually provided fuller
information, and the new
system is ready to roll. Another week or so should be enough time for people to
sign on.
