Intentionality and Semiotics: Tribal hunt

So, what I was thinking was this: If one wants to understand how the
theoretical concepts of semiotics and activity theory might contribute to
each other, then a semiotic analysis of a situation that has already been
well analysed through activity theory might make it possible to better
understand semiotics in relation to activity theory, and vice versa. The
thought experiment of the tribal hunt is paradigmatic of activity theory, and
might offer some insight. Perhaps a semiotician has already addressed this
problem and can offer a word or reference?
