Some time back I came across some neat graphics displaying international
math achievement. Instead of boring old bar graphs, the displays were of
cartoon characters with numbers attached riding a wave, climbing a mountain,
racing sports cars.... stuff like that. I THOUGHT they were from Jim Stigler's
web site at UCLA, but they are not.
Has anyone on xmca seen this pics and if so, could you tell me how to find them?
I have spent a bunch more time searching them on google to no avail and may
have to rever to stodgy old bar graphs when writing about them again, which
would be a shame.
Thanks for any help out there.
