Without using the "I..." word, David left me with this impression: he was
making the point that class perspectives do not capture well the rich
complexity of human experience. For me, this protest does not detract from
the usefullness of a class perspective for understanding the challenges that
are common to people within particular socio-economc categories, but rather
notes that there are limits to the usefulness of a class perspective as one
"zooms-in" to examine a finer-grain of activity.
