Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track - Literacy

Chapman University, a comprehensive, liberal-arts based university, in =
southern California, seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of =
Education in the area of Literacy. The School of Education offers =
undergraduate and graduate programs that lead to state teaching =
credentials and Masters degrees. The position is effective August, 2004.

Qualifications: Ph.D./Ed.D., focus in reading/critical literacy, =
research in literacy or related areas, excellent teaching skills for =
credential and master's degree students, and the ability to work =
collaboratively. Spanish competency and experience with public schools =
is desired.=20

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Chapman University is =
