For the present, the mystery of people being bumped from xmca has
been solved. A member set up filters to not read mail from some
member(s) of xmca and through various routes this got back to
weber which tnen, erroneously, picked out another name in the queue
at the time and bumped it.
The peson whose filtering caused the problem has been informed of the
issue.
The staff at UCSD computer center will be meeting in a few weeks to see
if they can agree on an upgrade for the list serve that precludes the
problems we have been having.
